What are the Academies?

The Academies refers to the US military academies, and includes USAFA (United States Air Force Academy), West Point (the Army Academy), the Naval Academy, the Coast Guard Academy. The academies are all highly competitive to get into and have very rigorous academic and physical standards. Going to an academy is a good option if you want to become a US military officer after college and want to be surrounded by a military environment during your four years at college.
