Course Description:
Students will learn the introductory concepts of Computer Programming using the Visual Basic programming language. The foundations include applying logical thinking and problem solving skills by using variables and control structures to create computer programs. Programming projects will introduce Windows applications using Graphical User Interface (GUI) development, including buttons, message boxes and other GUI controls. Windows-based game projects will also be introduced in the 2nd part of the semester. The programming environment is Visual Basic using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2017.
